The Newsstand is a great way to access your digital magazine and newspaper subscriptions right from the home screen. If you've subscribed to a magazine like Wired or a newspaper like the New York Times through iBooks, then you'll see the periodical right there waiting for you to read. The Newsstand is only a feature available in iOS 5, so you'll have to upgrade in order to use it.
