South Carolina, Schools Of Art ? A Review Of The Best Art Schools ...

The program allows students to explore several mediums before choosing a point and produce an original body of work exhibited in the Rebecca Randall Bryan University Art Gallery.

Most liberal arts education art and design schools offer a grounding in art history, design theory, media and technology, and computer technology. Students develop portfolios with samples of their completed projects to present to potential employers, colleges and galleries, if they decide to pursue careers as artists or independent artisans.

There is a strong demand for creative people in all areas of SC. Artists and designers can get a job trying to create ads, brochures, logos, packaging and product design. They can work in agencies, design firms, film and media companies and publishers, museums and galleries.
